School day clarity for families.
A wearable built for learning and connection. Classmate keeps parents informed and helps students master their schoolwork.

Tools for your child. Reassurance for you.
Bullying Detection & Alerts for the topics you care about
Homework & Exams updated on a shared calendar
“Smart Notes” & study aids geared for students of any age
Real Conversations Instead of One-Word Answers.
Your Child’s daily overview becomes a starting point for your family’s deeper connection.
Rather than “How was school today?” you can jump into conversation-starting specifics like, “Tell me what you learned about volcanoes today!” Classmate’s daily overview helps your family skip the “I don’t know” and “It was fine” and get right to the good stuff.

The Study Partner We All Wish We Had.
Ditch the distractions. Classmate allows your child to stay present during their school day.
Classmate is worn discreetly as a wristband, pendant, or backpack clip. It quietly captures the core academic takeaways of the day—cross-referencing class schedules and syllabi so busy kids can maximize study efficiency, stay fully focused on what the teacher is saying, and cut down on hours of manual review time.
How it helps them master their classes and save time:
- Gamified Study & Rewards: After school, Classmate provides an interactive, bite-sized study overview where students complete tasks, earn rewards, and build streaks based on what teachers emphasized for upcoming tests.
- Active Learning, Not Rote Memorization: Utilizes proven spaced repetition-based learning and short knowledge checks to keep studying regular, quick, and painless.
- Intelligent Organization & Reminders: Automatically tracks homework and test dates mentioned in class, and provides timely reminders so nothing slips through the cracks.
Think your favorite language learning app, but built to save time on their actual school curriculum.
This
Safety Prioritized. Privacy Respected.
Classmate is designed to share only what matters, connecting parents to students and students to their classwork.
It gives you the lesson, the assignment, and the information the teacher said would be on the test, and detects any bullying language or flagged topics that you specified.
This device helps parents ensure their kids’ safety and well-being. It’s not a fancy spy tool. Classmate isn’t picking the lock to your students’ diary or eavesdropping on the hallway gossip.
No live listening. Nothing reaches you until the device is docked at home.
No playback. No one can listen to the audio at any time.
No names or transcripts. Students’ and teachers’ names are removed as the summary is made, not afterward.
Audio is deleted after processing.
Your family’s summaries are yours. Never shared, never sold.

Meaningful Signals Without the Meddling
Classmate helps you feel confident sending your student off to school each day.
Parents can set up topics of choice: drugs, weapons, explicit content, political narratives or any subject particular to your family. Classmate detects meaning, not just trigger words or phrases.
It understands the difference between a chemistry lesson and a conversation on the bus. Classmate gives parents context so they know when a topic comes up and whether it feels necessary to discuss.
Parent-view only. Students never see alerts.

Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Classmate before getting started.
We’re here to help
Does it listen all day?
No. During setup, you set the on/off window (typically school hours). Classmate is only active during that scheduled window.
Can I listen to the audio?
No. Audio is processed and then deleted on a 24–48-hour cycle, so it cannot be recovered. Classmate is a safety net, not a spy tool. Kids’ conversations stay their own. Parents get updates in the app, not raw audio.
Can I read everything that was said?
No. Parents receive brief, school-relevant updates: what was taught, homework, assessments, and other classroom context. Built-in filters keep personal talk out. The only transcript you see is around a flagged behavioral event: the phrases immediately before, during, and just after (e.g., verbal slander, harassment). That’s the exception.
What about the other students it can hear?
Nearby voices can be picked up if they’re talking directly to the wearer, but names are anonymized, and speaker ID is not enabled. You cannot grade a teacher or do “he said / she said.” Background chatter is treated as noise and usually filtered out. A close conversation that triggers a safety alert could surface without identifying the other student or a full transcript.
What if they forget to wear it?
That day is missed. No audio, no summary. If you still want the school day’s material in Classmate (Quiz Me, Smart Notes, flashcards, spaced repetition), you or your student can photograph notes from the day and upload them. Classmate will add that context.
What if they never put it on the charger?
Battery lasts about 2–3 school days of scheduled listening. Silence produces a tiny empty file. Worn days are stored on-device (about 5 days of capacity) and upload the next time it’s charged. After that window, the battery is dead, and Classmate captures nothing more.
Does my student know it is on?
Yes. Classmate has a small, dim indicator light. It’s not obvious or distracting to the wearer or people nearby. The light stays on when the device is active.
Can I order Classmate for more than one child?
Absolutely. Each child needs their own Classmate plan and device. Choose a plan and color for your first student and add the order to your cart. Then select “Add another student” in the cart to choose a plan and color for your next child. Your current selections will stay in your cart, so you can check out together when everyone is ready.
If a student already has a Classmate device, select “I have one” when choosing their plan.
